It appears that one third of all schools in England affected by RaaC (Reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete) are located in Essex. It causes major disruption to a school with classrooms, offices and in some cases whole buildings having to be shut down. KFH has been working closely with our client CLP Trust at Roding Valley High School to help ensure the transition to temporary accommodation is as smooth as possible causing minimum disruption to students, teachers and learning whilst major construction works take place to resolve the RaaC affected buildings.
